God invites His people to "come before His presence with singing" (Psalm 100). Beechwood members share their talents through the Sanctuary Choir and the Praise Team ensembles, and we welcome instrumental musicians to join in worship with their artistry.
The Sanctuary Choir is a ministry to worship God with the church. This choir regularly sings in Sunday morning worship meetings and on other special occasions. Repertoire includes expressions of worship and other texts that encourage the church in scriptural truths. "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him." (Colossians. 3:16-17)
The Praise Team is a group of singers who lead worship as examples. Like the Sanctuary Choir, the Praise Team introduces new music to the congregation and, because of Jesus Christ, offers a "sacrifice of praise to God . . . the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name." (Hebrews 13:15-16) The Praise Team sings in Sunday evening worship meetings and other special occasions.
