The Way to Salvation
Realize you are a sinner:
"All of us have sinned and fallen short of God's glory." (Romans 3:23)
The reason we are sinners:
"Adam sinned, and that sin brought death into the world. Now everyone has sinned, and so everyone must die." (Romans 5:12)
The result of sin:
"Sin pays off with death. But God's gift is eternal life given by Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
God's response to sinners:
"But God showed how much he loved us by having Christ die for us, even though we were sinful." (Romans 5:8)
The remedy for sins: "So you will be saved, if you honestly say, 'Jesus is Lord,' and if you believe with all your heart that God raised him from death. All who call out to the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:9-13)
If you believe that Jesus is the Son God who came to earth to save us from our sins and if you truly desire to repent of your sins, then you may now pray in very simple language to the Lord Jesus. Tell him you are sorry for your sins, and ask him to forgive you. Tell Him that you want Him as your personal Savior.
